D.V.P (Deep Vein Thrombosis) is the formation of a blood clot (thrombus) in the deep veins. It commonly forms in the veins of the calf or thigh and is an emergency case. There are several risk factors which can increase the risk of deep vein thrombosis, such as surgery (especially orthopedic surgery on the lower extremities, urological surgery, neurosurgery, etc.).

VeinoPlus DVT is a portable medical device for additional DVT prophylaxis.
It is used in the hospital and after discharge in most cases of DVT risk: in high-risk DVT surgical situations and high-risk patients.
